SIEM REAP is a popular tourist destination because of Angkor Wat, so it has a large number of hotels, guesthouses and restaurants. The popularity of Cambodia’s ancient temples continue to attract more and more people from around the globe who want to explore the rich culture of Cambodia.  Responding to the large increase in tourists, the Ancient Angkor, a Khmer-styled Guesthouse, was built in 2003. Initially, there were only 15 fan-rooms which cost between $3 to $10 per night.  The guesthouse, however, was not able to accommodate all domestic and foreign requests for reservations.  

A new extension, with twenty rooms, was then added in 2004.   Both buildings had a total of 35 rooms, and is now called the Ancient Angkor Inn.  Although the name has changed for this Khmer-run Inn, the management and staff remain committed to its professional service, and even more people can experience an exciting, as well as relaxing time in Cambodia.

In August 1st 2009, the Inn now has, two buildings, a total of 63 rooms and all are equipped with modern conveniences – AC,  fridges, hot showers and ample furnishings.  In addition, VIP rooms are also available.

It is the most suitable place to stay. It located in the heart of Siem Reap town where only 10 minutes drive from the International airport, 10 minutes drive to Angkor complex and only 3 minutes walk to down town, the shopping area.

The grounds are beautifully arranged giving a soothing ambiance, with Angkorian art, statues and numerous plants and flowers. A large and modern restaurant is contained within the secure compound.
